Install the plugin

There are multiple ways to install Carbon Icons: from your computer with the files, directly from the WordPress plugin directory or even with FTP for advanced users. Choose the method that suits you best :

From your computer

1. Download the Carbon Icons plugin ZIP file from the plugin page or from your carbon plugins account.
2. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
3. Navigate to the “Plugins” section.
4. Click “Add New” and then “Upload Plugin.”
5. Choose the ZIP file you downloaded and click “Install Now.”
6. Once installed, click “Activate.”
7. You can activate your license or manage settings from the “Carbon Plugins > Carbon Icons” page.

From the Plugin Directory

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
2. Navigate to the “Plugins” section.
3. Click “Add New.”
4. Search for “Carbon Icons.”
5. Click “Install Now.”
6. Once installed, click “Activate.”

From FTP

For advanced users, you can also install Carbon Icons using FTP. Follow these steps:

1. Download the Carbon Icons plugin ZIP file from the plugin page or from your carbon plugins account.
2. Extract the ZIP file to your local computer.
3. Connect to your web server using an FTP client (for instance FileZilla).
4. Navigate to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation on the server.
5. Upload the extracted “carbon-icons” folder to the /plugins/ directory on the server.
6. Once uploaded, log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
7. Navigate to the “Plugins” section.
8. Find “Carbon Icons” in the list of installed plugins and click “Activate.”
9. You can activate your license or manage settings from the “Carbon Plugins > Carbon Icons” page.
