Insert a custom SVG

Carbon Icons allows you to add your custom SVG icons to your content easily. Follow these steps to insert your unique icons or SVG drawings into your posts or pages:

1. Open the Gutenberg editor in your WordPress post or page.
2. Add a the icon picker as seen before
3. Instead of picking an icon in the list, click on button “custom svg”, located in the upper right of the window.

Note

You need to preview your icon before inserting it, this way the plugin can check it’s a valid SVG and it allows you to ensure that its the correct SVG you want to insert.

3. Upload or select your custom SVG icon.
4. Customize its appearance as needed, including size and color.
